What is FOL file?

The files that end with the extension .fol are database files created by a DOS-based software program called the Personal filling System First Choice. These files were supported mostly by the Window’s older versions which had flat file databases. However, these files are not supported by the current versions of Windows.
This extension is mostly associated with the Microsoft Windows Mail where after configuring the mail, it saves the user’s folder setting in FOL file. These are flat files with data stored as a collection of fields. These files are converted to more usable data by use of first2html or First Out.
