Based on data from MEG files, one can also create so-called phylogenetic trees, which are saved to files with the MTS extension. Can I Open MEG Files?

The content of files with the MEG extension is stored in text form, and therefore, in theory, they can be opened even in the simplest editor like Notepad. However, this solution is not recommended due to the highly complex internal structure of MEG files. Even the slightest modification could prevent the correct reading of genetic information stored in MEG files.
