What is FreeCAD?
FreeCAD is a free, open-source parametric 3D CAD modeling application available on Windows, macOS, and Linux. It supports multiple workbenches for mechanical design, architecture, and finite element analysis, using .fcstd as its native file format. FreeCAD can import and export industry-standard formats including STEP and IGES.
