What is Inkscape?
Inkscape is a professional vector graphics editor with a possibility of working on layers created for Windows, Mac OS X and Linux systems. It can be successfully used by illustrators, web developers and designers.
This program offers flexible tools for drawing and creating texts, Bezier curves, its own format: Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG), tools for calligraphy, work in RGB, SMYK and HLS space. Inkscape enables to create diagrams, illustrations, line graphics logotypes and charts. It also enables to render texts and simple vector shapes.
