What is the TEMX file format?
A .temx file is the database used by Cemetery Registry, a Windows program sold in Hungarian and Romanian as Temető Nyilvántartó by the developer ECCLESIA SOFT. Cemetery administrators, parish offices and municipal record keepers use the program to digitize a graveyard and keep track of burial plots, deceased people and the people who rent those plots.
Everything lives in a single file. The .temx database organizes records into tables of rows and columns, covering plot configurations and the details attached to each grave. When you first install the software it ships a blank template named TemNyilv.temx in its program folder; creating a new registry copies and renames that template. According to FileInfo, the internal structure resembles a Microsoft Access .mdb database, which explains why some Access tools can read it, although ECCLESIA SOFT does not publish a public specification.
