What is Vim?
Vim is a text editor designed for Windows, Mac OS X and UNIX. Its software supports hundreds of programming languages, reads most text files, and can be expanded with available plugins. VIM also enables simultaneous editing of multiple files in separate windows. It also includes right-to-left typing, automatic unpacking of compressed files, and multi-byte character support.
