What is the LIR file format?
A file with the .LIR extension is a file known as ADI Ocelot Settings. It belongs to the Settings Files category. This format is associated with Applied Digital.
The reliable way to open a .LIR file is with software that recognises this exact format, rather than guessing from the file name. If you are not sure what created a file, our file identifier can read its first bytes and name the real format, even when the file has been renamed.
We are still gathering the list of programs that open .LIR files. A fully verified, hand-written description of this format is being prepared; until then, the details on this page are drawn directly from our database.
