Mac OSWhat is the IWA file format?
A file with the .IWA extension is a file known as IBM Writing Assistant text document. It belongs to the Text Files category.
The reliable way to open a .IWA file is with software that recognises this exact format, rather than guessing from the file name. If you are not sure what created a file, our file identifier can read its first bytes and name the real format, even when the file has been renamed.
This page lists 7 programs that open .IWA files. A fully verified, hand-written description of this format is being prepared; until then, the details on this page are drawn directly from our database.
