CPTX File

CPTX is a project file created with Adobe Captivate. Each file contains screen recordings along with other data such as music, videos or animations. Adobe Captivate offers users tools to edit the recording, add effects or do some basic video montage. The created project can be exported into flash file (SWF) or executable file (EXE).

Adobe Captivate

This tool was designed for editing captured screen recordings and creating presentations for e-learning, tutorials or simulations. Captivate module is available as a part of Adobe Technical Communication package. CPTX files are supported in Captivate version 5 and later. CPTX files replaced CP files used in earlier versions of this software.
