What are .b6i files used for?
.b6i files are used to archive software installation discs, games, and personal optical media. The full disc structure preserved in the .b6i/.b6t pair allows reproduction on target media with an identical layout to the original, including autorun behavior. Dedicated software can mount .b6i images in virtual drives for use exactly like a physical disc. Third-party tools such as AnyBurn and UltraISO can convert .b6i/.b6t pairs to standard .iso for most non-copy-protected use cases.

RISK: MEDIUMB6I is a passive disc image; no executable content in the container itself. Risk comes from the disc data inside: if the B6I is a backup of a game or software disc, the contents carry the same risks as any installed software.
