What is the MEB file format?
A .meb file is a 3D catalog element created by the PRO100 interior and furniture design program, developed by ECRU s.c. of Poland. It stores a single furniture piece or cabinet component - including 3D geometry, material references, dimensions, and metadata - ready to be placed into a room layout.
A .meb file represents a single library element; the complete room design project is saved in the .sto format. Using the PRO100 design program, a .meb element can be imported and incorporated into an .sto project. Furniture manufacturers and third-party catalog providers commonly distribute .meb files so designers can drop ready-made models - kitchens, wardrobes, appliances - directly into their PRO100 designs.
The format is a proprietary Windows-only binary and can only be opened with the PRO100 application. PRO100 is distributed in the UK by KAM (kam.co.uk) and remains popular in Central and Eastern Europe. Version 5.x is the current release as of 2026.
