What is the AID file format?
A file with the .AID extension is a file known as Star Trek Armada Arficicial Intelligence Parameters. It belongs to the Game Files category. This format is associated with Activision.
The reliable way to open a .AID file is with software that recognises this exact format, rather than guessing from the file name. If you are not sure what created a file, our file identifier can read its first bytes and name the real format, even when the file has been renamed.
We are still gathering the list of programs that open .AID files. A fully verified, hand-written description of this format is being prepared; until then, the details on this page are drawn directly from our database.
