What is the RAG file format?
.rag files are RAM Advanse Generator Files - proprietary binary data files used by RAM Advanse structural engineering software (now rebranded as RAM Elements by Bentley Systems). The generator feature allowed structural engineers to define parametric templates for repetitive structural elements: section properties, member types, load patterns, and entire bay or frame configurations that the software used to auto-generate three-dimensional structural models.
