What is Windows Live Mail?
Windows Live Mail was a free desktop email client developed by Microsoft Corporation as part of the Windows Live Essentials suite. It supported POP3, IMAP, and Exchange ActiveSync accounts and also handled contacts, calendars, and newsgroups. Microsoft discontinued it in 2017, directing users to the built-in Windows Mail app.
