What is Visual C++?
Visual C++ is Microsoft's integrated development environment and compiler toolchain for the C and C++ programming languages, distributed as part of the Visual Studio suite. It provides a source code editor, debugger, and build system for developing Windows applications and system components. Microsoft also releases standalone Visual C++ Redistributable packages containing the runtime libraries required by programs built with it.
