Why convert REALITY to USD?
A .reality file is Apple's Reality Composer scene format, and .usd is Pixar's open Universal Scene Description that the whole .reality/.usdz pipeline is built on. Converting to .usd gives you the editable, uncompressed scene for use in USD-native pipelines like Omniverse, Houdini or Maya.
