Plik .fap to Flipper Application Package, aplikacja stworzona dla multinarzędzia Flipper Zero produkowanego przez Flipper Devices. Pod maską jest to plik obiektowy .elf skompilowany dla rdzenia ARM Cortex-M4 układu STM32WB55, z metadanymi specyficznymi dla Flipper, ikoną i zasobami umieszczonymi w dodatkowych sekcjach.

RYZYKO: MEDIUMA .fap is native ARM code that runs on the Flipper Zero, so a malicious or buggy app could misbehave on the device, though it runs in the Flipper's constrained environment and cannot infect a desktop PC by sitting on it. The main caution is that FAPs can drive the Flipper's radios and GPIO in ways that may be illegal or harmful if misused. Install FAPs from the official catalog or trusted repositories, and be aware community apps are not reviewed as strictly as official ones.
