O que é o formato de ficheiro FAP?
Um arquivo .fap é um Flipper Application Package, um aplicativo desenvolvido para a multiferramenta Flipper Zero fabricada pela Flipper Devices. Tecnicamente, é um arquivo de objeto .elf compilado para o núcleo ARM Cortex-M4 do STM32WB55, com metadados específicos do Flipper, um ícone e recursos agrupados em seções extras.
Como o microcontrolador do Flipper não pode executar código diretamente do cartão SD, o App Loader do firmware copia um .fap para a RAM, verifica se a versão da sua API é compatível, aplica realocações e resolve as funções de firmware que ele chama antes de executá-lo. Cada pacote registra a versão da API do firmware com a qual foi compilado, de modo que um aplicativo continue funcionando em diferentes versões de firmware, desde que a versão principal (major) coincida. Os desenvolvedores criam FAPs com a Flipper Build Tool (FBT ou a versão leve ufbt), orientada por um manifesto application.fam que marca o aplicativo como externo.

RISCO: MEDIUMA .fap is native ARM code that runs on the Flipper Zero, so a malicious or buggy app could misbehave on the device, though it runs in the Flipper's constrained environment and cannot infect a desktop PC by sitting on it. The main caution is that FAPs can drive the Flipper's radios and GPIO in ways that may be illegal or harmful if misused. Install FAPs from the official catalog or trusted repositories, and be aware community apps are not reviewed as strictly as official ones.

A FAP begins with the standard ELF magic (0x7F 'E' 'L' 'F') because it is an ELF object file. It has no unique .fap signature; the Flipper-specific metadata (fap_version, api version, icon, name) is embedded in ELF sections, so the file is identified by its .fap extension and ELF contents rather than a distinct header.
