Qu'est-ce que le format de fichier FAP ?
Un fichier .fap est un Flipper Application Package, une application conçue pour le multi-outil Flipper Zero fabriqué par Flipper Devices. Sous le capot, il s'agit d'un fichier objet .elf compilé pour le cœur ARM Cortex-M4 du STM32WB55, avec des métadonnées spécifiques à Flipper, une icône et des ressources regroupées dans des sections supplémentaires.
Comme le microcontrôleur du Flipper ne peut pas exécuter de code directement depuis la carte SD, l'App Loader du micrologiciel copie le .fap dans la RAM, vérifie que sa version d'API est compatible, applique les relocalisations et résout les fonctions du micrologiciel qu'il appelle avant de l'exécuter. Chaque paquet enregistre la version de l'API du micrologiciel avec laquelle il a été construit, de sorte qu'une application continue de fonctionner sur différentes versions du micrologiciel tant que la version majeure correspond. Les développeurs créent des FAPs avec le Flipper Build Tool (FBT ou le plus léger ufbt), piloté par un manifeste application.fam qui marque l'application comme externe.
Sécurité et sûreté
RISQUE : MEDIUMA .fap is native ARM code that runs on the Flipper Zero, so a malicious or buggy app could misbehave on the device, though it runs in the Flipper's constrained environment and cannot infect a desktop PC by sitting on it. The main caution is that FAPs can drive the Flipper's radios and GPIO in ways that may be illegal or harmful if misused. Install FAPs from the official catalog or trusted repositories, and be aware community apps are not reviewed as strictly as official ones.
