Wireshark

Wireshark is an open-source network protocol analyzer originally created by Gerald Combs in 1998 (initially as Ethereal). It captures live network traffic and displays packets with detailed dissection of protocols at all layers of the network stack, supporting hundreds of protocols. It is the most widely used network troubleshooting and analysis tool in the industry and is available for Windows, macOS, and Linux.
