What is TiMidity++?
TiMidity++ is an open-source software MIDI synthesizer and player that converts MIDI files to audio using GUS patch files or SoundFont files. It can output synthesized audio to a sound card in real time or render MIDI files to WAV and other audio formats. TiMidity++ runs on multiple platforms and is commonly used on Linux systems.
