What is NSIS?
NSIS (Nullsoft Scriptable Install System) is a script-driven installer authoring tool originally created by Nullsoft and now maintained as an open-source project. Developers write installer logic in .nsi script files, optionally splitting reusable parts into .nsh header files, and compile them into a standalone Windows setup executable.
