Why convert GIF to JPG?
GIF is limited to 256 colors and suits animations and flat graphics, not photographs. If your GIF is a still photo or detailed image, converting it to .JPG gives a smaller, universally compatible file that works in photo services, email, and document editors. For logos, icons, or images with transparency, PNG is the better target.
