Wat is het TYP-bestandsformaat?
Een .typ-bestand is een brondocument voor Typst, een open-source, opmaakgebaseerd zetsysteem. Het bevat platte tekst samen met Typst-opmaak die beschrijft hoe het voltooide document eruit moet zien. Wanneer u de Typst-compiler op het bestand uitvoert, produceert deze een geformatteerde uitvoer zoals een .pdf.
Typst is gemaakt door Laurenz Mädje en Martin Haug en openbaar uitgebracht in maart 2023. Het is gericht op schrijvers van essays, wetenschappelijke artikelen, boeken en rapporten die een alternatief willen voor LaTeX met een eenvoudigere syntaxis. Het bestand is UTF-8-tekst en draagt het mediatype text/vnd.typst. Binnenin mengt Typst drie modi: proza-opmaak, wiskunde tussen $-tekens en een scriptingmodus geïntroduceerd met # voor variabelen en functies. Bestanden kunnen andere .typ-modules importeren, waardoor een groter project meestal een kleine boom van bronnen is met één hoofdingang.
Beveiliging & veiligheid
RISICO: LOWA .typ file is plain UTF-8 text and carries no embedded executable code that runs on its own. Typst markup can include scripting in code mode, but that logic only runs inside the Typst compiler during document layout and has no access to your system in the way a macro-enabled office document does. As with any source file, only compile documents from sources you trust, since scripts could reference external packages or assets.

Kan ik een .typ-bestand bewerken zonder iets te installeren?
Ja. Log in op de Typst-online-editor en upload het bestand, of open het in een willekeurige tekstverwerker om de onbewerkte opmaak te lezen en te wijzigen.
Zijn .typ-bestanden veilig om te openen?
Ja om te lezen. Het is platte tekst zonder zelfuitvoerende code. Typst-scripting wordt alleen uitgevoerd binnen de compiler wanneer u het document bouwt, dus behandel onbekende bronnen met de normale voorzichtigheid.
Waarom opent mijn .typ-bestand niet in Microsoft Word?
Word begrijpt de Typst-opmaak niet. Open het bestand in Typst of een tekstverwerker, of gebruik Pandoc om het te converteren naar een formaat dat Word leest, zoals
