What is the GUIDE file format?
A file with the .GUIDE extension is a file known as AmigaGuide Hypertext. This format is associated with Cloanto Italia srl.
The reliable way to open a .GUIDE file is with software that recognises this exact format, rather than guessing from the file name. If you are not sure what created a file, our file identifier can read its first bytes and name the real format, even when the file has been renamed.
We are still gathering the list of programs that open .GUIDE files. A fully verified, hand-written description of this format is being prepared; until then, the details on this page are drawn directly from our database.
