What is Windows Media Center?
Windows Media Center was a Microsoft application included in select editions of Windows XP, Vista, and 7 that provided a unified 10-foot user interface for media playback, live and recorded TV, music, and photos. It supported TV tuner cards for recording broadcast television to .wtv and .dvr-ms files and could be operated with a remote control.
