What is Scratch?
Scratch is a visual, block-based programming language and online community developed by the MIT Media Lab, aimed at teaching programming concepts to children and beginners. Users build interactive animations, games, and stories by snapping together graphical code blocks in a browser-based or desktop editor. Project files are saved with .sb, .sb2, or .sb3 extensions depending on the version of Scratch.
