What is NuGet?
NuGet is the package manager for the .NET platform, originally released under the Outercurve Foundation and now maintained by Microsoft. It enables developers to create, publish, and consume reusable code libraries and tools distributed as .nupkg packages. NuGet is integrated into Visual Studio and the .NET CLI.
