Autodesk Maya is a professional 3D computer graphics application used for modeling, rigging, animation, simulation, and rendering. It is extensively used in film, television, and game development for creating characters, environments, and visual effects. Autodesk acquired Maya from Alias Systems Corporation in 2006 and continues to develop it as a flagship product.
