Wat is het PRDX-bestandsformaat?
Een .prdx-bestand is een presentatie gemaakt met SoftMaker Presentations, het diavoorstellingsprogramma in de SoftMaker Office- en gratis FreeOffice-suites van SoftMaker Software GmbH. Het bevat een volledige, bewerkbare presentatie: een geordende set dia's met tekst, tabellen, afbeeldingen, getekende vormen, animaties en andere media, plus model-lay-outs, opmaak en overgangsinstellingen.
Onder de motorkap is een .prdx een ZIP-archief dat XML-onderdelen en mediabestanden verpakt, vergelijkbaar met de verpakking achter .pptx. Het formaat werd geïntroduceerd met SoftMaker Office 2016 en verving de oudere binaire .prd-documenten. Twee nauwe verwanten delen dezelfde structuur: .prsx, een zelfstartende diavoorstelling, en .prvx, een herbruikbaar sjabloon.
Beveiliging & veiligheid
RISICO: LOWA .prdx is a data document, not an executable, so opening one does not run code by itself. The main caution is that presentations can embed macros or linked media; open files from unknown senders in an up-to-date SoftMaker or FreeOffice build. Because it is a plain ZIP container, a corrupted or truncated file may simply fail to open.
