What is The Haskell Platform?
The Haskell Platform is a standardized distribution of the Haskell programming language that bundles the GHC compiler, the Cabal build tool, and a curated set of widely used Haskell libraries into a single installer. It is maintained by the Haskell community and was the recommended starting point for new Haskell developers on Windows, macOS, and Linux. It targets .hs source files and .lhs literate Haskell files.
