What is TextWrangler?
TextWrangler was a free, general-purpose text editor for macOS developed by Bare Bones Software as a no-cost complement to their commercial BBEdit editor. It supported syntax highlighting, multiple file encodings, and multi-file search and replace. Bare Bones discontinued TextWrangler in 2017, folding its features into a free tier of BBEdit.
