What is TECkit?
TECkit is an encoding conversion toolkit developed by SIL International for mapping legacy 8-bit character encodings to Unicode. It includes a compiler that transforms human-readable .map source files into binary .tec conversion tables, along with a runtime library for applying those conversions to text data.
