What is Swish-E?
Swish-E (Simple Web Indexing System for Humans - Enhanced) is an open-source full-text indexing and search engine maintained by the Swish-e Project. It can index websites, file systems, and databases, then serve fast search results via CGI or other interfaces. It was commonly deployed to add search functionality to static or dynamic websites.
