What is Rosegarden?
Rosegarden is an open-source music notation editor and MIDI sequencer for Linux. It supports MIDI recording, editing, and playback, as well as music notation display and export to formats such as LilyPond and MusicXML. The project has been developed by a community team including Chris Cannam and D. Michael McIntyre since the early 2000s.
