What is QuickPar?
QuickPar is a Windows utility developed by Peter B. Clements for creating and verifying PAR2 (Parity Archive Volume Set) recovery files, which allow corrupted or missing files in a set to be reconstructed. It was widely used in Usenet binary communities to add redundancy data to multi-part file archives.
