POV-Ray

POV-Ray (Persistence of Vision Raytracer) is a free, open-source ray tracing program that generates photorealistic 3D images from scene descriptions written in its own scripting language. Users define geometry, lighting, textures, and camera settings in .pov script files. It has been actively developed since the late 1980s and is widely used in computer graphics education and hobbyist 3D rendering.
