What is Pixelmator?
Pixelmator is an image editing application developed by Pixelmator Team Ltd. for macOS and iOS, offering tools for photo retouching, painting, and graphic design. Its native document format uses the .pxm extension. A more advanced successor, Pixelmator Pro, was released in 2017 with a redesigned interface and additional features.
