What is Oracle JNI?
Oracle's Java Native Interface (JNI) is a programming framework included in the Java Development Kit that enables Java code running inside the JVM to call and be called by native applications and libraries written in C or C++. Oracle maintains the JNI specification as part of the Java SE platform. On macOS, native JNI libraries are packaged as .jnilib files.
