What is Neverwinter Nights?
Neverwinter Nights is a role-playing game developed by BioWare and released in 2002, based on the Dungeons and Dragons 3rd Edition ruleset and using the Aurora engine. It shipped with a comprehensive toolset that allowed players to build and share their own modules, generating a large community of user-created content. Associated file formats cover modules, area definitions, creature templates, dialogue trees, and engine resource tables.
