What is Mathcad?
Mathcad is engineering mathematics software developed by PTC (Parametric Technology Corporation) that allows engineers and scientists to write, compute, and document calculations using standard mathematical notation in a worksheet interface. It supports symbolic math, numerical computation, unit management, and 2D/3D plotting. Mathcad worksheets use the .xmcd and .mcdx file formats and are widely used for engineering calculation documentation.
