What is Impulse Tracker?
Impulse Tracker is a DOS-based music tracker created by Jeffrey Lim in the mid-1990s that uses a pattern-based sequencing interface for composing module music. It introduced the .it module format, which became widely adopted in the demoscene and tracker music communities. The software could also import module formats from other trackers such as .mod and .ptm.
