What is Eudora?
Eudora was an email client originally developed at the University of Illinois and later commercialized by QUALCOMM Incorporated, sold from 1991 until its discontinuation in 2006. It stored email in .mbx message files paired with .toc index files and supported POP3 and IMAP protocols. QUALCOMM later open-sourced the code to the Mozilla Foundation, which developed a Mozilla-based successor.
