What is DITA Open Toolkit?

DITA Open Toolkit (DITA-OT) is an open-source publishing engine for content authored in the Darwin Information Typing Architecture (DITA) XML standard. It transforms DITA source files into output formats such as HTML, PDF, and EPUB using a pipeline of XSLT and Java processing. It is the reference implementation for DITA publishing and is widely used in technical documentation workflows.
