What is CRiSP Harvest?

CRiSP Harvest is a fisheries management modeling tool developed by the School of Aquatic and Fishery Sciences at the University of Washington, part of the Columbia River Salmon Passage (CRiSP) software suite. It simulates the effects of salmon harvest on Columbia River basin fish populations using Monte Carlo methods. Fisheries managers and researchers use it to evaluate harvest management scenarios for salmon conservation and regulatory planning.
