What is Counter-Strike?
Counter-Strike is a multiplayer tactical first-person shooter franchise originally created as a Half-Life mod by Minh Le and Jess Cliffe and later acquired and developed by Valve. Players compete in teams of terrorists and counter-terrorists completing objectives such as bomb defusal or hostage rescue. The series has produced major titles including Counter-Strike: Source, CS:GO, and CS2.
