Informations about CADfix
CADfix is a software used to translate, repair and optimize CAD models. It saves many hours of work while avoiding manual repair or re-creation of geometry. It can significantly reduce the file size from e.g. 798MB to 29MB in just 20 minutes.
Optimization is achieved by converting geometry to simplified forms, removing invisible internal details and similarly shaped components, as well as removing protuberances, curves and holes.
