What is Autodesk Animator?
Autodesk Animator (and its successor Autodesk Animator Pro) was a raster-based animation program for MS-DOS developed by Autodesk in the early 1990s. It created and played back animations in the FLI and FLIC formats, which became widely adopted standards for DOS-era multimedia and game graphics. The software was instrumental in popularizing frame-by-frame animation on personal computers.
