Hvad er FILEBOLT-filformatet?
En .filebolt-fil er en enkelt fil, der er blevet krypteret af Filebolt, en filbeskyttelses-app fra Envault Corporation Oy, en finsk virksomhed grundlagt i 2007. Inde i containeren ligger én original fil, såsom et .xlsx-regneark eller et .jpg-foto, kodet med AES-kryptering og låst bag en adgangskode, som ejeren har valgt.
Envault byggede Filebolt på krypteringsforskning fra VTT, Finlands tekniske forskningscenter. RISIKO: LOWA .filebolt file is encrypted data, not executable code, so opening it will not run anything. The real risk is losing access: the Filebolt app and website are discontinued, and without the password plus a working copy of the app the contents cannot be recovered. Decrypt important files and store them in a supported format while you still can.
