Why convert UNITY3D to RVT?
A .unity3d file is a proprietary binary container of compiled game assets - meshes, textures, audio, and scripts - produced by the Unity Web Player pipeline, which was discontinued in 2016. A .rvt file is an Autodesk Revit BIM project storing parametric architectural and structural data such as walls, floors, and MEP systems. The two formats belong to entirely different domains and share no data model or workflow.
How to convert UNITY3D to RVT
AssetStudio OPEN-SOURCE
Open the .unity3d file via File > Load file, switch to the Asset List tab, filter by Mesh, select the meshes, and export as .fbx. Import the resulting FBX into Revit via Insert > Import CAD as static reference geometry only - not as a BIM element.

- Only raw mesh geometry transfers; no BIM metadata, parametric data, or schedules carry over to Revit.
- Revit treats an imported FBX as a static shape, not a native BIM element - unsuitable for real architectural workflows.
